DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
PHYSICAL STRESS
The device must not add a significant amount of physical stress or strain to the user. This means the device must be lightweight enough to be setup and dismantled by the wheelchair user.
SIZE
The size of the device is constrained by the type of car owned by the wheelchair user. In order to reach the most amount of people, the device should fit inside a standard size sedan car door opening.
COST
The goal of this project is to help as many people as possible. For that reason our cost must not be too high. Our goal is to sell the device for less than other currently available solutions while maintaining a high level of safety.
