This week we met and got a ton of verification testing complete on Monday in Widder’s lab. While in there we were able to put about 1400 N of force on our bladder and it held. We wanted 1800 N for a safety factor of 2 so the rest is being completed in FEA. We measured length, width, height, weight and calculated volume of our prototype to see if they meet some of our specs. From quick analysis they seem to meet our specs but the calculations will be ran again to ensure that. We have also started working on the final report and plan to get a majority of it complete this weekend. We will have a rough draft by Wednesday to meet with Dr. Klaesner. Design safe is almost finished as well. Finally we have designed and made our doorstop. It is almost completely done.
